Star ToursTip Of The Week

If you want a better chance of being the rebel spy in the Star Tours attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, don’t put on your 3D glasses until right when the ride begins, sit toward the middle, and face the front as much as possible before the ride starts.

Club CoolTip Of The Week

In Epcot’s Future World near the Fountain View Café is a fantastic spot to explore called Club Cool. This location has lots of fun Coca-Cola merchandise, plus it offers free unlimited self-serve samples of Coke flavors from around the world. The tastes range from awesome to awful which adds to the entertainment value. I have a hilarious photo from the first time my son tried the Beverly. Beware – that flavor is only for the adventurous! So when you get hot and thirsty, be sure to stop in.

Celebrating Disney’s Hollywood Studios 30th Anniversary

If you happen to be in Walt Disney World on May 1, 2019, be sure to stop by Disney’s Hollywood Studios to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the park. Like with every park anniversary, Disney has some unique food, merchandise, and fun planned for the event. Here’s what you can expect:

There will be plenty of specialty foods and drinks available for purchase throughout the park including Kylo Ren Cupcakes, Incredibles Macarons, and Tres Leches Verrine.

Special 30th anniversary merchandise will be available for purchase including a new adult T-shirt, baseball cap, Tervis 24-oz tumbler, MagicBand, plus there will be items exclusively for Annual passholders. Merchandise can be found in Grand Park beginning at 8am, while supplies last.

Be sure to stick around until the end of the day for the debut of “Wonderful World of Animation.” According to Disney:

The park’s new nighttime projection show will light up the park for its official debut on May 1. Watch in wonder as the façade of the Chinese Theatre is magically transformed – displaying this stirring tribute to animation. Behold spectacular sequences celebrating themes like magic, family, adventure, romance and friendship. Each theme is brought to life through unforgettable moments from beloved films—like “Sleeping Beauty,” “The Incredibles,” “Coco” and many more. The show will debut at 9:05pm, just prior to the park’s “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” fireworks show.

And if you still have some energy left, get tickets to the amazing Disney After Hours being held that night!

Attendees can experience little to no-wait on park favorites, including The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Toy Story Land attractions and more. Additionally, this special anniversary edition of Disney After Hours will feature some beloved Disney characters ready to greet guests in the Chinese Theatre Courtyard, at Star Wars Launch Bay and more. There will also be a special encore performance of “Wonderful World of Animation” taking place exclusively for event attendees.
