The Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant is returning to Disney Springs this month! Don your best green duds and head on over to Disney Springs to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style March 16 through March 19, 2023.

Along with a full menu of authentic Irish cuisine like Bangers & Mash and Shepherd’s Pie plus a massive selection of beer and cocktails, Raglan Road will be featuring sensational live entertainment straight from Ireland. Their unique sound and high stage energy always promises a raucous evening of music and song.  They recently released their third instalment off their highly anticipated Re: Works EP, “Take the Time.”

Award-winning instrumentalists Tadhg Ó Meachair (Goitse) from Dublin & Joanna Hyde (The Hydes) from Colarado form an exciting and dynamic transatlantic duo. Through a shared deep-rooted passion for Irish traditional music, they present a rousing blend of Irish and American folk music and song in an energetic and engaging manner creating an eclectic vibe.

Men Of Aran

These two legends of the Irish traditional music world, Colin Farrell (fiddle) and Dave Curley (banjo & vocals) have toured, performed and recorded with numerous traditional Irish music luminaries. They are gifted entertainers and masters of their craft charming Raglan Road audiences with a potent mix of sublime musicianship, electric energy and a tremendous live performance.

Celtic Croí

A fresh and exciting three-piece traditional Irish music ensemble from Glasgow, Dublin and Belfast featuring Hannah McNeill (fiddle, vocals, banjo & mandolin), Blain Curtis (Guitar & Vocals) and Niall McIlroy (Guitar, whistles, flute & Vocals). All highly accomplished musicians with a wealth of musical talent and experience making for a vibrant and exciting live show of music and song.

Gobhán

Dynamic duo from Co. Down, featuring Oliver Havlin (Guitar & Vocals) and Aoife Byrne (Fiddle and Vocals). Winning numerous titles including Ulster Champions and were All Ireland Fleadh finalists. Performing all over Europe and have supported leading Irish artists Sharon Shannon and Paul Brady. They had the honour of being invited to perform for the Prince of Wales and The President of Ireland. They will keep you entertained with a mix of traditional Irish ballads and modern Irish songs.

The Raglan Road Irish Dancers

Plucked from the casts and stages of the world’s greatest Irish dance shows, will perform throughout the festival. 

Reservations are encouraged for guests who plan to celebrate at Raglan Road, where they can lift a pint, sip a cocktail, and dine on authentic contemporary Irish cuisine beginning on March 16. Disney Very Merriest After Hours Coming To Magic Kingdom This Holiday Season

If you have been eagerly awaiting the news on what the Christmas season will look like at Walt Disney World this year, Disney recently answered this all important question. Instead of the festive Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, this holiday season Walt Disney World will be offering Disney Very Merriest After Hours as a fun and safer alternative. Here’s what we know about this jolly event so far, courtesy of Disney:

Christmas Mickey and MinnieMerry music fills the night air. Cinderella Castle is all aglow. Snow falls on Main Street, U.S.A. as Magic Kingdom park brims with excitement.

This Christmas season, join your loved ones and friends at a truly magical holiday festival—Disney Very Merriest After Hours—held during the 50th anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World Resort. Offerings for this new event include Character sightings, fireworks, themed music and decorations, attractions and more.

Spot some favorite Disney friends as they spread their holiday cheer throughout the park. Thrill to Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, a dazzling fireworks display hosted by Minnie Mouse. Indulge in delicious holiday treats, ice cream, popcorn and bottled beverages—all included with the cost of admission. Delight in some holiday-themed attraction overlays and Cinderella Castle projections. Plus, enjoy Magic Kingdom park for 4 hours after the park closes, and less time waiting in line for attractions!

Disney Very Merriest After Hours will take place from 9:00pm to 1:00am on select nights, from November 8 through December 21, 2021. Tickets will go on sale next month, so continue to check for updates. Event tickets will grant admission to Magic Kingdom park as early as 7:00pm, giving you time to enjoy even more of your park favorites before the event begins. These dated event tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or Disney Park Pass theme park reservation.

First Look At A Magical 2021 Holiday Season At Walt Disney World

Holidays Return To Walt Disney WorldIf you are looking for some place to get away and spend the holidays this year, look no further than Walt Disney World. Recently Disney shared a first look at what is in store for guests to Walt Disney World this holiday season. According to Disney:

Beginning November 12, festive entertainment, whimsical décor, seasonal food and drinks, special merchandise and more will all be a part of the 2021 holiday season across Walt Disney World Resort. Here is a first look at the merrymaking to come this year as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” honoring the resort’s 50th anniversary.

Holiday Cinderella CastleMagic Kingdom Park

  • Main Street, U.S.A., will be decked for the holidays with seasonal décor.
  • In the evening, special holiday projections will appear most nights on Cinderella Castle, alternating periodically throughout the night with the castle’s transformation into a Beacon of Magic as part of the park’s 50thanniversary celebration.*
  • “Disney Very Merriest After Hours,” a new specially ticketed event, begins November 8 and continues on select nights through the holiday season. The four-hour experience with feature “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks,” Disney characters throughout the park, holiday music and décor, treats included and much more. The event will be open to a limited number of guests after regular park operating hours, with lower wait times on more than 20 available attractions. Tickets will go on sale in August, with an early purchase window available to guests of select Disney Resort hotels.

Holiday Tower of TerrorDisney’s Hollywood Studios

  • The Hollywood Holiday Tower will twinkle anew at the end of Sunset Boulevard during Sunset Seasons Greetings. Projection effects will magically transform the park icon into snowy Arendelle, a Muppets gingerbread masterpiece, a Toy Story toy hotel, and a Dickensian village inspired by “Mickey’s Christmas Carol.” This holiday show will also alternate with the tower’s nightly transformation into a Beacon of Magic.
  • “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” will feature a festive finale starring Olaf.
  • Santa Claus will bring some North Pole cheer to a motorcade down Hollywood Boulevard.
  • Minnie Mouse will host a meal at Hollywood & Vine, joined by her pals in their holiday finest – and Santa, too!

Holiday Tree of LifeDisney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park

  • The park’s centerpiece – The Tree of Life – becomes another Beacon of Magic most nights during the 50thanniversary celebration. During the holiday season, there will be even more magic inspired by nature as the holiday edition of Tree of Life Awakenings also takes place most nights.
  • Disney characters will set sail down Discovery River, accompanied by joyful songs of the season.

Holiday Disney SpringsDisney Springs

  • The Walt Disney World shopping, dining and entertainment district will transform into a winter wonderland, full of sparkling lights, enchanting décor and holiday surprises.
  • The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll will feature elaborately decorated, Disney-themed trees, including some inspired by “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
  • A magical snowfall will add a touch of wonder for holiday shoppers at surprise locations.
  • Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar will become Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar with delightful décor and a delicious limited-time menu filled with festive favorites.
  • Disney Springs is the perfect place for guests to make their holiday shopping lists and check them twice, with a wide array of Disney holiday merchandise, including ornaments, matching family pajamas, Spirit Jerseys and more.

Gingerbread 3Disney Resort Hotels

  • Iconic trees and other seasonal touches will turn Disney Resort hotels into holiday hideaways.
  • Select resorts will feature intricate gingerbread displays perfect for holiday photographs … and inspiration for holiday treats.
  • Select resorts will offer holiday menus at restaurants, as well as other specialty food and drinks.

  • The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will return November 26 – December 30 and will feature Holiday Kitchens around World Showcase, performances by Voices of Liberty, a Cookie Stroll and more.

First Details Of Disney After Hours BOO BASH

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween PartyIf you have been eagerly awaiting the news on what the Halloween season will look like at Walt Disney World this year, Disney recently answered this all important question. Instead of the spooktacular Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, this fall Walt Disney World will be offering Disney After Hours BOO BASH as a fun and safer alternative. Here are the first details of what we can expect at this devilishly delightful event, courtesy of Disney:

A new Halloween-themed event is spiriting its way into Magic Kingdom Park this fall at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. “Disney After Hours Boo Bash” will take place select nights August 10 through October 31, 2021, from 9pm to midnight (from 9:30pm to 12:30am on select nights in August and September).

Halloween 26Spooky fun for the whole family will include:

  • Special cavalcades full of characters popping up throughout the night including “Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade” featuring Mickey Mouse and friends dressed for the occasion. In the “Disney Villains Halloween Cavalcade,” villains will take to the street and celebrate their favorite time of the year. “Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade” will feature Jack Skellington, Sally and Oogie Boogie riding down the parade path to “This Is Halloween.” Maleficent will also make an appearance in the form of a fire-breathing dragon.
  • Favorite friends lurking about, from the lovely Miss Carlotta at the Haunted Mansion to Goofy and Chip ‘n’ Dale in their Halloween best, with other surprise guests spotted across the park. Guests can also stop and listen to the Cadaver Dans during performances on Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Complimentary snacks such as ice cream novelties and popcorn, along with select beverages included in event admission.
  • Less wait times at 20 attractions including Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion attraction, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan’s Flight, Space Mountain and more.
  • A variety of specialty food and drinks available for purchase.
    • Apple Ginger Dale, apple cider mixed with ginger ale and topped with whipped cream
    • Foolish Mortal Funnel Cake
  • Disney PhotoPass available to capture magical and spooky shots throughout the night.

'Disney After Hours BOO BASH' Debuts Aug. 10 at Magic Kingdom PaDecorations on Main Street, U.S.A., will receive a magical transformation during event nights in October. Walt Disney Imagineering, in partnership with the Walt Disney World Resort Holiday Services team, will blend a fall look with the enchanting story of Cinderella by creating special pumpkin coach decorations. This new décor will add to the park’s sparkling EARidescence during “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” that begins October 1, honoring the 50thanniversary of Walt Disney World.

All foolish mortals can dress in costume for “Disney After Hours Boo Bash,” and can get their fill of Halloween candy while trick-or-treating around the park. Costume masks are not permitted for adults; they can only be worn by children under 14 years old. Guests should check Disney World Updates as well as the Walt Disney World Resort Costume Policy for more information. Health and safety measures, policies and operational guidelines are subject to change.

“Disney After Hours Boo Bash” is a limited-capacity and separately ticketed event that does not require an additional day’s theme park ticket or Disney Park Pass reservation. Tickets will grant admission to Magic Kingdom as early as 7pm, giving guests time to enjoy even more magic before the event begins.

Tickets for this hauntingly fun-filled three-hour event will go on sale June 15 and can be purchased online or by calling 407-939-4240. Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can book their tickets as early as June 8. Tickets start at $129 – $139, plus tax for August/September nights and $159 – $169, plus tax for October nights, and $199, plus tax for Halloween. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can take advantage of a $10 discount for event nights in August and September. A limited number of tickets are available, so get yours soon!
