Can you believe that the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival begins this month? Even harder to believe than that, is that this incredible event is kicking off its 20th year. Here’s everything you need to know about this milestone celebration courtesy of Disney:

The ChewThe 20th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival promises a tasting celebration of epic proportion September 25 – November 16, 2015, with more global marketplaces than ever and a first-time culinary collaboration with ABC’s Emmy-Award winning lifestyle series “The Chew.”

Festival guests also can see “The Chew” tape five shows before an Epcot audience October 7 – 9 to air October 12 – 16.

Disney chefs and festival programmers are whipping up a feast of surprises to celebrate the 20th annual festival in style. New wine tastings, lively parties and other culinary experiences built around the 20-year milestone will unite loyal festival fans and first-timers.

During the 53-day festival, presented by Chase and recognized by the Travel Channel as one of America’s top food festivals, Epcot will brim with epicurean discoveries:

At Chew Lab, food science meets the hottest culinary tech trends with dishes like the Liquid Nitro Chocolate Almond Truffle with Warm Whiskey Caramel.

Print

Can you believe that the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival begins next month? This year Disney has added an activity for the kiddos to enjoy called Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak. Here’s everything you need to know about this fun, new offering courtesy of Disney:

Beginning September 25, while supplies last, take part in Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak and help Remy as he ventures around World Showcase at Epcot collecting ingredients for his signature dish, Ratatouille.

RemyRecord your discoveries as you help Remy find each ingredient by placing the corresponding sticker on the specially themed map to represent that location.

Maps and stickers can be purchased for $9.95 (plus tax) at the following locations throughout Epcot: Disney Traders, Festival Center, Pin Central, Port of Entry, and World Traveler. Keep in mind maps, stickers, and surprise are available while supplies last. There are no discounts available and purchasing limits may apply.

Whether you choose to search for each ingredient or not, return your map to the redemption location at Port of Entry by November 16, 2015 to pick up your surprise.

What’s the surprise? Take a look! You will have the opportunity to receive one of the pins featured here.

2015 Epcot International Food And Wine Festival Exclusive Merchandise

With the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival beginning next month on September 25, I thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the new merchandise that will be offered during the event. According to Disney, these items will be for sale exclusively at Food & Wine and will not be available online. There will be merchandise locations set up in World Showcase carrying a few items, but for the best selection head to the Festival Center located in the former Wonders of Life Pavilion between Universe of Energy and Mission: SPACE.

This year, there are three different themes for the merchandise. The first is the World Showcase Logo theme that includes icons from each of the 11 country pavilions. Next up, there is a Disney Character theme that will feature Figment and Mickey Mouse dressed as chefs. The final theme is the returning favorite – Brews Around The World.

So let’s take a peek at some of merchandise…
