Countdown To Midnight New Year’s Eve Party

Ring in 2017 in Style

Walt Disney World is a perfect place to ring in the New Year. There are many magical ways to celebrate including the huge Countdown To Midnight bash at Disney’s Contemporary Resort!

Countdown To Midnight

This festive party will be held on December 31, 2016 at the Convention Center at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Check in for the event will begin at 7:00pm, the party will start at 8:00pm, and continue until 1:00am. Admission is $225 per person and includes tax and gratuity.

According to Disney…Guests can ring in 2017 in the Fantasia Ballroom by dancing to music spanning from the ’60s to today, and trying “best-of-the-best” bites and wine pairings from California Grill, Flying Fish, Cítricos and Narcoossee’s. Guests can also enjoy the group Alter Ego as they perform their extravagant music- and dance-filled revue, then stroll outside to catch a unique musical act playing songs of today with a retro twist. The event will be highlighted with Magic Kingdom Park fireworks viewing and a champagne toast. There will also be themed photo backdrops and props to help you capture the memories of the evening and receive a souvenir to commemorate the night. Plus complimentary transportation will be provided for select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

  • In order to consume alcohol at the event, guests must be 21 years of age or older, and present a valid government issued photo id.

Celebrating Halloween At Club Villain In Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Good news for Disney villain fans out there! Disney is reopening Club Villain at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to celebrate the Halloween season. This entertaining dining experience is hosted by the spooky Dr. Facilier from Disney’s animated hit “The Princess and the Frog” and takes place in Sunset Showcase located at the end of Sunset Boulevard near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Dine and dance the night away with favorite villains such as Maleficent, Evil Queen, Cruella De Vil, and Queen of Hearts. Feast on New Orleans specialties like herb crusted tender beef strip loin, sticky wings with citrus gremolata, and spicy shrimp sautéed with Andouille sausage, tomato, okra and onions over creamy polenta. Of course, the desserts are not to be missed! Specialty cocktails, beer, wine as well as non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary from the Potions Bar. While you dance, dine, drink, and mingle with the villains, be entertained with hilarious musical numbers and an energetic dance mix from the house DJ.

Club Villain takes place on Friday and Saturday nights September 2 – October 29 plus October 31 and tickets can be purchased for $129 per person including tax and gratuity. Two “Club Villain” experiences will be held each Friday and Saturday evening, with starting times at 5:15pm and 8:30pm. Separate admission to Hollywood Studios is required and is not included in the price of the ticket. Epcot’s 2016 Candlelight Processional Dining Packages Now On Sale

The Candlelight Processional is one of the most beloved holiday traditions at Walt Disney World, with the joyous retelling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator, accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and glorious mass choir. Candlelight performances take place at 5:00pm, 6:45pm and 8:15pm at the America Gardens Theatre in Epcot from November 25 through December 30, 2016. (showtimes on December 4 are 6:45 and 8:15pm only)

Candlelight ProcessionalGuests may purchase Candlelight Dining Packages to reserve a seat at the Candlelight Processional. These packages include a delicious meal and a guaranteed seat for one of the Candlelight Processional performances. There are breakfast, lunch, and dinner packages available. Breakfast starts at $27 for adults and $14 for children, lunch and dinner starts at $47 for adults and $20 for children. Each meal includes an appetizer, entrée, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage (or buffet depending on the location selected). Prices do not include tax, gratuity, or the required park admission. Every year Magic Kingdom celebrates the holiday season with the festive Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on select nights November through December 22.  There is a special holiday parade, entertaining shows, spectacular fireworks, hot chocolate and cookies, character dance parties and even snow on Main Street! This year Disney is offering a Wishes Holiday Dessert Party as part of the fun. Here’s everything you need to know about the premium event courtesy of Disney:

Available on select nights from November 7 through December 22, 2016, the Holiday Wishes Dessert Premium Package gives Guests like you—with visions of sugarplums dancing in your head—the chance to soak up the enchanting sight of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade from a special reserved location on Main Street, U.S.A.

Holiday Wishes 1Then, after you’ve experienced this dazzling cavalcade of festive friends—each dressed in their holiday best—and enjoyed a visit from Jolly Old Saint Nick himself, you’re invited to a private dessert party! It’s the perfect place to treat your senses to fa-la-la-fantastic views of Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks bursting high above Cinderella Castle.

But that’s not all! There’s even more in store…

At a table decked with boughs of holly, discover a host of holiday-themed cupcakes and desserts freshly prepared by our pastry chef, along with a bountiful buffet of sweet treats—like chocolate-dipped strawberries, chocolate mousse, ice cream, cheeses and fresh, seasonal fruits.
