Photo Pass LogoTip Of The Week

With millions of visitors annually, it’s no wonder the Disney parks are among the most photographed places in the United States.  On any given day, Disney’s PhotoPass photographers take between 100,000 and 200,000 photos of guests at Walt Disney World Resort. The PhotoPass service allows guests to view, share and order their Disney photos online and create Disney products such as PhotoBooks and mugs.

Disney Did You Know

At least 25 different plants, grasses and mosses of various colors, including pink and red begonias, dusty miller, palm fiber, palm seeds, ficus and lichen, are used to create and define facial and other features of festival character topiaries displayed during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. The topiary team uses about 200 one-pound boxes of hairpins to attach plants and flowers to the topiaries.

Tip Of The Week

Epcot is a perfect choice for doing a split day with one park in the morning and another at night. My family often spends the morning in Magic Kingdom then, after a mid-day break; we head over to Epcot to tour World Showcase at night.

Polynesian Village ResortTip Of The Week

When visiting Magic Kingdom and it’s time for a meal, hop on the resort monorail to The Contemporary, Polynesian Village, or Grand Floridian to enjoy a quiet, leisurely lunch or dinner. Not only will this help recharge you for more touring, it also offers a nice break from the crowds and heat of the parks.

Disney Did You Know

Walt Disney Imagineers viewed 156 episodes of “The Twilight Zone” for inspiration when creating The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

Tip Of The Week

When starting your day at Epcot, don’t make a beeline for Spaceship Earth. Many guests enter the park and just get in the first line they see. As a result, the wait for Spaceship Earth can be very long in the morning. Try hopping in line on your way out of the park in the evening instead.

Walt DisneyWalt’s Words

“Fantasy, if it’s really convincing, can’t become dated, for the simple reason that it represents a flight into a dimension that lies beyond the reach of time.”
