Exciting Updates Coming To Star Tours – The Adventure Continues

Calling all Star Wars fans…exciting news! On December 20, 2019, Disney will be adding destinations inspired by the new movie Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Over the last few years, Disney has added flights to Jakku, Crait, Batuu, and with the release of the new film, the ocean moon Kef Bir will join the mix. So prepare to board your Starspeeder this holiday season as the adventure continues!

Disney Early Morning Magic At Disney’s Hollywood Studios

During August and September this year, Disney is offering a new ticketed event called “Disney Early Morning Magic”. For $69 per adult and $59 per child (ages 3 – 9) plus tax in addition to regular theme park admission, a limited number of guests will be granted exclusive early entry to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for breakfast and quick access on select experiences including Star Tours – The Adventures Continues, Toy Story Mania!, Pixar Place character greetings (with Woody and Buzz), Mickey and Minnie on Commissary Lane, and Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight.

“Disney Early Morning Magic” will take place on:

August 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 and 31
September 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, and 28

The hours of this event will be from 8:00am to 10:00am each event day.

Your ticket will grant you access to the park beginning at 8:00am on your event day; an hour prior to the regular park opening to all other guests at 9:00am. Check in will begin at the left most turnstiles at 7:45am. At 8:00am, guests will be allowed entrance to experience the select attractions and to enjoy breakfast. The attractions will be open to event guests from 8:00am – 9:00am only at which time event-only attraction access will end as the park opens to all guests. Breakfast will be served at ABC Commissary from 8:00am – 10:00am and will include seasonal fruit and berries, freshly baked pastries, scrambled eggs, spinach and mushroom frittata, smoked bacon, pork sausage, cheesy potatoes, puffed French toast, Muesli with assorted toppings, chilled juices, coffee and teas.

Are you a Star Wars fan planning a visit to Walt Disney World this summer? If so, you are in luck, because Disney is adding several amazing new experiences for guests to enjoy. Here’s everything you need to know, courtesy of Disney:


In the galactic wake of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, new Star-Wars-themed experiences shift into light speed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

  • The next generation of Star Wars-themed fireworks shows, “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular,” will premiere this summer with new themed fireworks, lasers, special effects and video projections of characters and scenes from the complete saga, all set to the iconic score of the film series.
  • The live stage show “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” debuted April 4, celebrating iconic moments from the Star Wars saga with live vignettes featuring popular characters such as BB-8, Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and Darth Maul.
  • The March of the First Order Stormtrooper procession led by Captain Phasma from the Star Wars Launch Bay to the park’s Center Stage adds menace to the entertainment.
  • The just-opened Star Wars Launch Bay showcases large-scale artifacts and encounters with characters including Kylo Ren.
  • The re-imagined Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple experience also features new characters.
  • At Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, guests buckle up for an enhanced high-speed journey with new Force Awakens characters and a visit to Jakku.
