If you are fortunate enough to be in Disney World on Thanksgiving Day this year, you have several places to choose from for your special Thanksgiving meal. Here’s the scoop from Disney:

Walt Disney World Resort guests can indulge in a fresh take on an American tradition by enjoying their Thanksgiving feast November 27, 2014 with a bounty of Disney tastes. With more than 30 different dining choices at Disney theme parks and resorts, families and friends can come together for a variety of Thanksgiving lunch and dinner offerings.

Special holiday menus include roasted turkey breast with all the trimmings plus traditional Norwegian meatballs and pan-seared salmon at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, poppy seed lavash, house-made naan, and apple-cranberry achar at Sanaa, roasted heirloom beets with candied walnuts and mulled apple cider at Artist Point, and other unique dishes to enjoy with the holiday classics.

At Epcot, guests can dine on Thanksgiving menus during lunch and dinner seatings at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Biergarten Restaurant, Coral Reef Restaurant, Le Cellier Steakhouse, and Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room, as well as quick service at Sunshine Seasons.

Holiday menus also are offered at Be Our Guest Restaurant and Tony’s Town Square Restaurant in Magic Kingdom, Hollywood & Vine and The Hollywood Brown Derby in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Tusker House Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Within the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, special Thanksgiving dining options are available at:

Disney World News – Frozen Characters Magic Kingdom Presence Expanded

Frozen’s popular characters will have a bigger presence at Magic Kingdom this holiday season. In addition to the ongoing character appearances, Queen Elsa will use her powers to transform Cinderella Castle into an ice palace every night starting November 5, 2014. Plus Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party-goers can see Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf in Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.

Tickets are on sale for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!

The dates this year are:

November 7, 10, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21 and 30
December 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 19

The party is held at the Magic Kingdom from 7pm to 12am.

Ticket prices range from about $66 to $79 for an adult and from about $61 to $74 for children ages 3 to 9. Pricing depends on the night you attend and if you have any type of discount.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a festive and heart warming experience for the entire family. Last Chance – Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!

Last Chance! Tickets are still on sale for one of my all-time favorite Disney World events…Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!

There are two dates still available this year:

October 23 and 26.

The party is held at the Magic Kingdom from 7pm to 12am.

Ticket prices range from about $67 to $71 for an adult and from about $62 to $66 for children ages 3 to 9. Pricing depends on the night you attend and if you have any type of discount.

I have been to this party several times and I would highly recommend it. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a lively and light-hearted experience and it is truly a family friendly event. There are special parades, exciting dance parties, stunning fireworks and tons of trick-or-treating stations filled with candy for everyone! My kids and I have such a great time every time we go. Adults and children alike really get into the spirit of the event by dressing in costume, trick-or-treating and dancing the night away with all of the characters.
